sheTIME encourages women to see their natural monthly cycle positively.
We believe that the bodily and emotional changes accompanying our cycles are important, and should be honoured. They can be learnt from and worked with (instead of against) and can be positive events.
You will find on the Chronicles Forum women’s experiences of their cycles and on the Tips, Rituals, Networks and Creativity Forums their ideas for working with these. In sharing stories about feminine rhythms, women explore the female body and psyche and great insights can unfold. New visitors to sheTIME are warmly welcomed and encouraged to join the journey. We are interested in physical, psychological and spiritual experiences, including any that differ from the norm (however you define that), and their effect on your activities and relationships.
sheTIME offers resources for people who experience distressing or uncomfortable PMS or periods, who are concerned about irregularities in their cycle, who wrestle with the implications of gender identity as it relates to the monthly cycle, or who are simply interested in maintaining a healthy cycle.
We are also interested in rituals which mark, acknowledge and facilitate transitions in the fertility cycle, such as first periods (menarche), pre-menstrual phases, the period itself, perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause, etc., and in creative responses (in art or thought) to any of these.
sheTIME is a collaboration by real women who report real experiences. Please join in the discussions. We wish you well as you explore!
